Matthew Weston

Matt’s practice of law began in 2002. Predominantly serving as a litigation attorney, Matt has been involved in, and has handled, a wide variety of state and federal litigation matters in both trial court and on appeal. He is licensed in and practices law in both Texas and California. He handles litigation and appellate matters involving commercial, business, and consumer debt; statutory taxation disputes; governmental contract disputes; municipal finance challenges; statutory compliance; civil rights; assorted whistleblower claims; and a variety of other areas of litigation. While Matt is the consummate litigation counsel, he has served as a legal advisor for both law enforcement and firefighting organizations, as well as economic development corporations. Matt serves as Senior Counsel and oversees litigation matters at Hyde Kelley LLP.
